The LULU Gag Trials can be daunting. Here are some tips to avoid gotchas:

1. Beware of third-party HUDs and attachments.

Some third-party attachments will glitch your ability to respond in time to the No-AFK prompts. For example, SpunkLovers HUD will cause you to fail even if you click the correct the answer in time.

2. Do not use the lock timer.

If you were caught afk during the Trial, additional penalty time will be added to the time required to complete the current trial. If the lock timer triggers before this requisite time is hit, the gag will automatically unlock, and end the Trial prematurely.

3. Avoid TP'ing to or logging into busy sims.

Busy sims are laggy, and might cause the HUD and gag to not be able to talk to each other within the 3-minute timeout. If the HUD is not detected, the Trial will end. Unfortunately there is no way around this. For this reason, it is recommended that you try to confine yourself to a known low-lag sim, especially if you were going for the final First Slave circle.

4. Avoid updating or setting up any LULU gear.

Gear setups might require detaching existing gear or HUD. This will interfere with the Trial.
