My new HUD can't detect the source HUD when I try to transfer my gear over
Usually this means that SL has borked your source HUD so that It doesn't talk to the destination HUD.
Try:
- wear your source HUD (6.3.15) and reset with HUD Menu > HELP... > reset...
- then wear your new HUD and try transferring again (HUD Menu > transfer...)
If that doesn't work, it means that it's totally borked and cannot be recovered. Try:
- rez a previous version of your HUD (the version before your borked HUD) with your other gear and transfer over from that.
if the previous HUD is no longer available, just go to the Update Switch to get new sets of your old gear, set up, and then transfer over to the new HUD.
