Every time you TP or cross a sim or login with locked gear, the HUD will perform a security check to ensure all your locked gear are still worn. If it detects missing gear, it will trigger re-rez , and your gear will *re-rez* and re-attach automatically.

This means that if any gear inadvertently came off in a previous no-rez or no-script sim, the situation is rectified in the next rezzable and script-friendly sim. This will also trigger the detach alarm.

Troubleshooting

If you experience frequent failed security checks that were false alarms, please update your HUD to at least v6.3.11.
