Lots of info about your environment, including the sim server info (e.g. is it a beta sim? what's the server version?), can be found in the SL viewer you are using:

Where to get the server info

In the official SL viewer, click Help > About Second Life and then hit the Copy to Clipboard button.

In Firestorm, click Help > About Firestorm and hit the Copy to Clipboard button.

In other viewers, look for similar menu items.

How to submit the information

To submit the info, simply click Ctrl-V and paste into the Contact form or IM text area.
